Bangkok Commercial Production

Just finished shooting a TVC Commercial Production for Smart Mobile in Phnom Penh Cambodia . Shot on the Red Camera with build 21 and Zeiss lenses. Bangkok based Cinesky was the Ad Agency and Film Production Company. Smart Mobile and Cambodia were great host. I love visiting Cambodia.
Film Production and Commercial work is just starting to take off in Phnom Penh. It should be exciting times for the entertainment industry in Cambodia. Things have changed in Phnom Penh in just a couple of years since I’d last been there. The rapid change is staggering. The Thai Film crew got a kick out of the way traffic flowed and Red lights weren’t observed in most cases. They called it America’s 51st State because the dollar was the de-facto currency.
Film Productions Companies based in Bangkok are now doing more in Cambodia as their nascent film industry is just growing legs.

Filming with the Red Camera on the bangkok sois waiting for the afternoon showers. The infamous tuk tuk that everyone seemingly has to take a picture.
This was for a Kuwait TVC shot on the Red Digital Camera.

A client asked us to film a commercial with Dancers, Snakes and Elephants. The spot was filmed with a Red Camera and Zeiss superspeed Lens. The baby Elephant was unbelievable. He/She did everything asked of it. 
Smart and gentle. I have to figure out a way to film more elephants with the Red Camera! Bangkok is amazing place to shoot. It would have cost a lot more money to have done this in LA on Film. This was only setup a day in advance. They walked the baby elephant into the studio and we were ready to shoot. The baby elephant would walk up to the camera department and try to see what this strange Red camera was. Amazing Thailand! I told myself I would never quote that.
